Barrier-Free Living with a View: New Accessible Home in Belmont Park Estates Moves into Permit Review

The project is a two-story residence currently in the permit review phase in the scenic Belmont Park Estates near Mason Neck in Fairfax County, Virginia. Perched near the natural beauty of Belmont Bay, the project blends sustainable design principles with elegant, barrier-free living.

Created with accessibility at its core, the home will offer a fully barrier-free experience—ensuring ease of movement and comfort for residents of all abilities. Large windows and open interior and exterior spaces are oriented to capture stunning water views, creating a seamless connection to the surrounding landscape.

Sustainability is also a guiding principle. The design emphasizes energy efficiency and proposes minimal site grading to preserve the natural terrain—conserving existing mature trees and maintaining the character of the wooded setting while reducing environmental impact.

This residence represents a model for inclusive, environmentally conscious living in one of Northern Virginia’s most picturesque communities. Stay tuned as the project progresses toward construction.
