Introducing Sean Weiner, New Allied Representative for BRAVAS

Sean Weiner has served as both the CTO and General Manager of Bravas’ Baltimore location. Prior to joining Bravas in 2019, Sean was the president of Starr Systems Design, an electronic systems and electrical contracting firm located in Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in Economics, spent two years as an installation technician at a Baltimore area audio/video and lighting systems contractor, another two years as a system designer with a Washington DC area custom retailer, and ultimately founded Starr Systems Design in the summer of 1994. During that time, Starr Systems Design grew from a 3-employee audio and video systems contractor to a 45-employee firm specializing in electronic systems, electrical contracting, and security systems. Starr Systems now comprises the Baltimore location of Bravas.

Starr Systems Design has been the recipient of eleven CEDIA Designer’s Choice awards since 2001, and was named CEDIA’s Electronic Systems Contractor of the Year for 2008. Their work has also been awarded five times by Electronic House Magazine, and by Architech magazine, and their technology Design Center was recognized by Lutron as Showroom of the Year in 2009. Mr. Weiner is a certified CEDIA outreach instructor, and has written and participated in educational and promotional articles for numerous industry magazines, the National Homebuilders Association, and several local and regional publications.
