Want to know who's running things at AIA Potomac Valley? Maybe interested in a leadership position yourself? Come to the AIAPV Annual Membership Meeting to elect next year's slate of leaders and learn more about what the board does and how you can get involved.

This year, we're adding a mentoring twist. After we take care of the business, we'll socialize with some icebreakers and low-key activities that will help you identify potential mentors, whether you are a student, a young designer or a mid-career architect. No resumes or portfolios needed, and no time limits on who you can talk to, but an opportunity to connect based on shared interests and expertise.

The meeting and social will be at LEAFHouse, our chapter's unique and award-winning solar house, which has lately hosted a variety of social and cultural events. It's a great place for a party, come out and see! AND to sweeten the deal even further, Executive Director Renee Catacalos, author of the new book The Chesapeake Table: Your Guide to Eating Local, will ensure a spread of delicious local foods and libations!

The AIAPV Annual Membership Meeting is free for Potomac Valley Chapter members. There is plenty of parking across the street from LEAFHouse and we can also arrange shared rides from the College Park Metro station (indicate your interest when you register).
