Please join the Small Practice Group for a special year-end lunch program presented by Debbie Mattes, an Insulation Expert of 22 years with Cameron Group Insulators (formerly A.C. & R. Insulators). Deb's substantive presentation to our group nearly ten years ago was memorable for her depth of knowledge and experience with all types of insulation as well as her ability to make independent assessments of how to figure out the best insulation choices for each design consideration. Today's codes have added further challenges to making the best choices. 1. Understand how different types of insulation systems function.
2. Understand why R-value is not necessarily the most important consideration when choosing the best system.
3. Learn how to choose among insulation systems based on project criteria, local conditions, construction type, cost, and other influencing factors.
4. Learn how to fit chosen insulation product(s) within dimensional constraints.  
5. Understand when and how using a hybrid system may provide the most economical and effective solution to meet both code requirements and budgetary constraints.
