Please join your fellow small practice architects for coffee, pastries and a meaningful discussion about what matters to you and your practice; where you see a need for support from your chapter; and what you’d like to learn about within our scheduled monthly meetings. The Annual January Round Table is the one meeting where we, the attendees, are the speakers!

Come prepared to talk about course topics and resources you’re interested in that would:

• Provide interesting, educational, and up-to-date material that is relevant to your practice
• Educate you about techniques, materials, business practices, and/or recently-built projects of interest to our profession
• Be difficult for you to find time to learn about otherwise
• And offer continuing education credits

Course Description:

Small practice architects discuss the most pressing needs for the success of their practice, share resources and pertinent issues and requests for upcoming Small Practice Group monthly presentations.

Learning Objectives

1. Share specific experiences and industry resources related to documentation, accessibility, material choices and other aspects of project development and design pertinent to working on small projects
2. Share solutions to office practice and job project management through documentation and construction
3. Identify and discuss key design, building code, planning and zoning, site and environmental issues and solutions facing small practice architects in the metro DC region
4. Discuss ways for the chapter to help provide high-quality continuing education that meets the needs and addresses the health, safety and welfare requirements of small practice architects
