Course Description:
This educational session will cover the latest in building enclosure technology for energy efficient buildings. A ROCKWOOL expert will provide an in-depth discussion of emerging wall designs that provide durable, cost-effective and thermally-efficient performance.

Learning Objectives:
- Review and understand recent changes to local building and energy codes that impact building enclosure design strategies and whole building energy efficiency.
- Understand the building enclosure design requirements for wall assemblies and how the selection of the right materials is critical to reliable long-term performance.
- Learn about several emerging design strategies including various cladding attachment systems that are being used for the construction of highly insulated wall assemblies and how to apply these technologies to projects.
- Understand how these new systems are installed in the field with minimal changes to current construction practices.
