Ventilated rainscreen facade systems improve building durability, moisture management, and thermal performance. This course explores how ventilated cladding assemblies enhance building performance and design flexibility.

- Air Quality Improvement: An in-depth exploration of how ventilated rainscreen facades contribute to a healthier building environment by limiting trapped condensation, preventing mold growth and maintaining optimal indoor air quality.
- Air Circulation Dynamics: To learn the mechanisms by which these systems facilitate air circulation, crucial for mitigating moisture accumulation and enhancing the overall health of the building structure.
Condensation and Humidity Control: Insight into the strategies employed by ventilated rainscreen systems to regulate condensation and humidity levels, thereby preventing structural deterioration and prolonging the building's lifespan. - Thermal Performance and Energy Efficiency: Acquire a knowledge of how these façade systems contribute to the thermal efficiency of buildings, leading to significant energy savings over the building's lifetime. The course covers the principles of thermal insulation and energy conservation attributed to ventilated rainscreens.
