Join the AIABaltimore Equity Committee for the first event of the Implicit Bias in the Workplace Series. Implicit bias refers to attitudes and stereotypes that unconsciously affect our understanding, actions, and assumptions. Everyone possesses implicit biases, even if those biases do not align with our beliefs, and they can influence our decisions in the workplace whether it’s hiring employees, working with clients, or deciding who deserves a promotion.

In the first part of the series, AIA National staff from the AIA Equity in Architecture Commission will discuss the commission’s report with findings and recommendations for expanding and strengthening the commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion in every practice.
